If you are craving for authentic Japanese cuisine when in the south, you may want to try Ryuma Restaurant. It is located at the 2nd level of Paseo de Sta Rosa Annex 2, Greenfields, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
When you are by annex 2, you will see outlet stores like the Payless Shoe Store, Marks and Spencer and Nike to name a few.
Just take the stairs to the restaurant. The main restaurant shows
There are smoking and non-smoking areas for the guests. One may choose to sit by the table with regular heightened chairs or if you want to eat authentic Japanese style seated on a low level stool by the traditional tea table. Let your guide know your preference so they may assist you to the right part of the restaurant.
On busy days, it may take awhile for the food to arrive but make sure you let the crew check upon your order every now and then. The restaurant caters to all types of diners. I usually see a lot of businessmen coming in during late night time as well as groups of family during lunch.
They provide a complimentary cold black tea to go with your food. If you are on budget, I could suggest you order a Ramen and split in half. It is a lot and just enough for a great afternoon snack.
